U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has left for Israel
to prevent an outbreak of a bigger war amid the Palestinian Hamas offensive.
He has left for the Middle East to show the U.S. solidarity
with its ally Israel. Blinken will discuss with Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu the further extension of U.S. military assistance.
“I am going there with the clear message that the United
States stands by Israel,” Blinken said to the press before his trip.
