From a small vagabond singer from Kyotahia to the luminary of Armenian music. Komitas Vardapet, Soghomon Soghomonyan, was born in the city of Kyotahia in Anatolia, in the family of a shoemaker and a carpet weaver. Soghomon’s parents were known for their musical skills.
