The Iranian government expresses its condolences to the people of Lebanon and will take appropriate measures following the Israeli airstrike on Hezbollah’s underground center in Beirut, TASS writes, referring to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
“The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran will take measures in connection with the latest crime of the Zionists and will always stand by the people of Lebanon and the Axis of Resistance,” the Iranian president said.
Pezeshkian expressed his condolences to the families of all those killed and wounded in the strike and called the incident a war crime that “once again reveals the terrorist nature of that regime.”
