Russia expects that the POW exchange process between Armenia
and Azerbaijan will be finalized. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria
Zakharova said this at her press briefing.
“The rules of International humanitarian law should always
be applied to detained persons. In bilateral and trilateral meetings, we have
repeatedly called on our partners to complete the exchange of POWs on “all for
all” principle. We think that the time is now ripe for this. We hope that this
issue will be successfully settled,” Zakharova said.
