Russia regrets the “freezing” of Armenia’s activities in the CSTO and welcomes the country’s active participation in the EAEU, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing.
“The state itself should decide what is important for it and what it needs, but we believe that the CSTO is as useful in terms of security as the EAEU is in terms of economy. We do not see any obstacles to cooperation with Armenia within the framework of these two organizations,” Zakharova said.
