The area around the Rafah Crossing located on the Gaza–Egypt
border has been bombarded, Reuters reports, quoting three Egyptian security
sources and a witness.
The crossing was hit on Oct. 9 as well. As a result,
operations there were partially disrupted.
The National News reports that Egypt has closed the
crossings along its borders with the Gaza Strip and Israel. Officials of the
Egyptian security forces have announced that they have increased patrols along
the borders.
