We have historical ties with Palestinians and maintain our
contacts. I am talking about various contacts, including high-level ones. But
we have relations with Israel as well. Spokesperson for the Russian President
Dmitry Peskov said this when asked about Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan
Kadyrov’s statement on supporting Palestine, RIA Novosti reports.
“Russia maintains relations with both sides of the
Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Many of our compatriots live in Israel. Thus, we
maintain relations with both sides of the conflict,” Peskov said.
