Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the situation on the battlefield “creates an opportunity” to take steps to end the war in Ukraine no later than 2025, Reuters writes.
“In October, November and December, we have an opportunity to move things toward peace and lasting stability. The situation on the battlefield makes it possible to make this choice—the choice of decisive actions to end the war no later than 2025,” Zelenskyy said during the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit in Dubrovnik.
