The Israeli army used cluster munitions while bombarding Lebanese settlements, Hezbollah reports.
According to the statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) used prohibited munitions when they struck the villages of Khanin and Et-Teiri in southern Lebanon.
“This is a new barbaric crime against the people of Lebanon and Palestine, caused by the failure of the international community to stop Israeli aggression,” reads the statement.
Cluster munitions are prohibited by the international convention adopted in Oslo in 2008.
