The third meeting between the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the 3+3 format will take place in Istanbul, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference held in Ankara after talks with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
“Turkey adheres to the position that all regional issues should be resolved directly by the countries of the region; we continue consultations with the countries of the South Caucasus through the 3+3 regional cooperation platform. The meeting in the 3+3 format will take place on Oct. 18; the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran and Russia will participate,” Fidan said.
