Zakharova: Russia does not directly use the term ‘Zangezur corridor’

In a press briefing, an Azerbaijani journalist asked Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova about Russia’s stance regarding the “Zangezur corridor” and the withdrawal of Russian border guards from the Armenian-Iranian border.

Zakharova noted that Russia does not directly use the term “Zangezur corridor”, and as for the presence of Russian border guards on the Armenian-Iranian and Armenian-Turkish borders, it is a different question.

“As for the unblocking of communications, Russia has repeatedly commented on this issue and is doing everything necessary in that direction,” Zakharova said.
