Israel’s foreign minister confirms Hamas political bureau head Sinwar’s death

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has confirmed the death of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar. Earlier, the Israeli military announced his possible death.

“Sinwar, who is responsible for the murders and atrocities that took place on Oct. 7 (2023), was eliminated today by the Israeli military,” Katz said.
