Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have the opportunity to communicate on the margins of the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin told RIA Novosti.
According to the ambassador, Pashinyan’s acceptance of Putin’s personal invitation to attend the events of the BRICS+ format to be held in Kazan within the framework of the 16th summit of the Union is in itself a reflection of the close contacts between Russia and Armenia at the highest level.
“I think our leaders will have opportunities to communicate, but in what format and with what agenda will depend on the agenda of this international forum, which is going to be very intensive,” Kopirkin noted.
