The Russian air defense units on duty intercepted and shot down 18 Ukrainian drones in Russian territory overnight, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reports.
“Another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack on facilities located in the territory of the Russian Federation with the use of fixed-wing drones has been prevented. Air defense units on duty intercepted and destroyed 18 Ukrainian drones,” the ministry said.
As noted, 11 drones were hit in the Rostov region, four in Bryansk, two in Kursk and one in Oryol.
