Trump says he threatened Putin to strike Moscow’s center

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, now a presidential candidate, has announced that he threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin to hit Moscow if Russia “pursues Ukraine.” Trump said this at a meeting with the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

The former U.S. president told the Russian leader that if he “pursues Ukraine,” he would receive such a “strong blow” that he “wouldn’t even believe it.” Trump threatened to strike directly at the “center of damned Moscow.” According to the former president, he told Putin that he would not want to do this because they have good relations, but he would be left with no choice. Trump did not specify when and under what circumstances such a conversation with Putin could take place.
