Spokesperson for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has denied the talks about the “rift” of BRICS, saying that no one there is cooperating against anyone.
Speaking about the possibility of Turkey becoming a member of the association, Peskov noted that NATO membership is not an obstacle to membership in BRICS.
“BRICS, unlike the EU and NATO, does not impose conditions on what other international associations its members can belong to,” Peskov noted.
