Representatives of the relevant departments of Armenia and Turkey will meet soon to assess the conditions for the resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway, Ruben Rubinyan, special envoy from Armenia for normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and vice president of the Armenian National Assembly, told Azatutyun. According to him, however, the day of the meeting has not been set yet.
“As we have done in the past, for example, a joint study on the Margara bridge, representatives of interdepartmental groups of Armenia and Turkey will soon meet for such a study in order to implement this agreement, I mean to assess the conditions necessary for the resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway,” Rubinyan said.
