Blinken has phone conversation with Fidan

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

According to Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller, Blinken and Fidan discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, highlighting the importance of achieving a just and lasting peace that would benefit the entire region.

Blinken and Fidan also discussed the ongoing efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Lebanon. The U.S. secretary of state reaffirmed that it is time to stop the war in Gaza.

He expressed his condolences to Fidan regarding the Oct. 23 terror attack in Ankara.
