Georgia’s Central Electoral Commission issues preliminary election data after counting 100% ballots
The Central Electoral Commission of Georgia has issued the preliminary results of the country’s parliamentary elections after counting 100% of ballots. Ballots were counted in 3,111 polling stations.
Georgian Dream: 53.92% (1,118,836 votes);
Coalition for Change: Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi: More Freedom, Droa: 11.03% (229,006 votes);
Unity: Strategy of Aghmashenebeli, European Georgia: 10.16% (210,895 votes);
Strong Georgia: Lelo, For the People (Ana Dolidze), Citizens – Elisashvili, Freedom Square: 8.81% (182,891 votes)
For Georgia party: Gakharia: 7.77% (161,250 votes);
The rest of the parties have not overcome the threshold of 5%. A total of 18 political teams ran in the elections.
