Georgian president to make emergency statement

The Staff of the President of Georgia announced that at 9:00 p.m., the country’s president, Salome Zourabichvili, will make an emergency statement. She is expected to comment on the results of the parliamentary elections. Before the elections, Zourabichvili openly supported the opposition. It was on her initiative that the country’s main forces of the opposition signed pro-European laws.
