Kobakhidze: The people of Georgia have chosen a bright, European future
The people of Georgia have chosen peace, development and a bright, European future for the country, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.
“Elections are important in any country, and at this crucial moment, the Georgian people supported us and made the only, indisputable choice. We told the public that these elections are equivalent to a referendum; this message definitely reached the voters, and this is the reason for the unprecedented turnout in the parliamentary elections,” Kobakhidze said at the briefing.
The first meeting of the Parliament will be held as usual; the Parliament will start work, the government will be approved, and the processes in our country will continue as usual, the Georgian prime minister noted.
