Israel’s Knesset bans UN Palestinian refugee agency operation
Israel’s Knesset has approved a law banning the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) from operating on Israeli soil, Kan radio station writes.
According to the radio station, the bill was adopted in its second and third and final reading. Ninety-two MPs voted in favor of the ban, 10 against. The law prohibits UNRWA from having representations, providing services and directly or indirectly carrying out any activities in the territory of Israel.
