Russia’s air defense destroys 21 drones overnight

The Russian air defense intercepted and destroyed 21 Ukrainian drones overnight in the country’s six regions and over the Black Sea, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reports.

“The air defense units on duty foiled the attempts of the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks with fixed-wing drones against targets located in Russia overnight,” the ministry said.

As noted, eight drones were shot down in Rostov region, five in Kursk region, three in Volgograd region, two in Bryansk region, one each in Belgorod, Voronezh, and Black Sea regions.
