Former Moldovan president casts ballot for present government
Igor Dodon, former president of Moldova and leader of the oppositional Party of Socialists, cast his ballot for the present government in the country’s presidential elections.
To remind, the second round of presidential elections in Moldova started today; the head of the republic is elected for a four-year term.
Polling stations will close at 9:00 p.m.
“I voted for justice—for a president who respects the Constitution, who will stop the hatred and xenophobia that we are unfortunately witnessing. I believe that we, the citizens of the republic, cannot endure four more years of trials; therefore, these attempts must be stopped,” Dodon said after the vote.
