Lavrov: Russia is ready to listen to the clear-cut ideas of the West regarding Ukraine
Russia is ready to discuss the ideas coming from the West on the issue of Ukraine, if they are clear and reasonable, RIA Novosti writes, referring to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“If there are clear and reasonable ideas, we are ready to listen to them. So far, we have only heard statements from Brussels and other capitals of united Europe that there is no alternative to the ‘Zelenskyy plan’, which, in fact, leads us to a dead end,” Lavrov said.
When asked whether the presidency of Donald Trump would have an impact on the EU’s foreign policy, Lavrov said he could not make predictions on that.
