Georgia is ready to play a mediating role in the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, should they express a desire for it, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in an interview with Georgian First Channel.
“If there is an interest, for example, in Georgia becoming a mediator or becoming more actively involved in the negotiation process, we have always expressed our readiness to assist in this regard. This holds true for the present moment as well. If there is the appropriate interest, we are ready to offer our help and support to our two neighboring countries,” Kobakhidze stated.
