Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has commented on the possibility of a peace treaty conclusion between Armenia and Azerbaijan by the end of the year, noting that there has been no clear agreement yet.
According to Bayramov, face-to-face contacts are one of the significant components of the negotiation process, but currently the Azerbaijani side is focused on COP29.
“That’s why holding meetings until December is not possible. December or January is another thing. There has been no clear agreement in this regard yet. At the same time, the work on the document continues,” the Azerbaijani foreign minister said.
He also referred to the issue of unblocking transport communications, noting that there are still open questions in that regard. According to Bayramov, work has been underway for a long time in Azerbaijan to rapidly develop transport infrastructure, which will soon reach the border with Armenia.
