EU expands sanctions against Iran for cooperation with Russia

The EU Council has expanded sanctions against Iran on Monday due to its alleged military cooperation with Russia, according to a statement released by the council.

“The decision made today includes a ban on the export, transfer, supply, and sale of components used by Iran for the development and production of missiles and drones,” reads the statement.
