Georgian Opposition calling for protests
The Georgian Opposition has called for a demonstration outside the Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue on Nov. 29. Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the Unity-National Movement coalition, made a statement on this.
“We will gather again on Rustaveli at 7:00 p.m., and we will fight to the victory,” Vashadze wrote.
To remind, tensions have remained high in Georgia following the parliamentary elections. The Opposition regularly holds protests against the ruling party, demanding new elections.
