Seyran Ohanyan: How can one extend a hand of friendship after the genocide in Artsakh?

Leader of the NA Armenia Alliance Seyran Ohanyan referred to
the possible conclusion of a peace treaty at a press briefing today. Ohanyan is
convinced the international community exerts pressure on these authorities,
while the latter yield to it.

“Forced or hasty conclusion of a “Peace Treaty” or a “Peace
Illusion” is another manifestation of pressure on the Armenian authorities from
the international community and Azerbaijan. Current conditions are not
favorable for the quick conclusion of the treaty for two reasons. First,
Azerbaijan’s rhetoric has not changed; its actions in the territory of Armenia,
especially in the territory of Artsakh, have not changed either. Thus, after
the genocide in Artsakh, how can one extend a hand of friendship to the
genocide perpetrator and express readiness to establish peace?” Ohanyan said.
