Tasmagambetov: The CSTO is able of responding to crisis situations
The collective forces of the CSTO are sufficient to respond to the crisis situations that have arisen, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said at a press conference.
“The main and primary task is the organization’s response to potential challenges and threats, including sudden nuances that arise in the CSTO’s area of responsibility,” Tasmagambetov stated.
The CSTO secretary general noted that various military exercises have been conducted over this period to gain relevant experience in responding to crisis situations. “The collective forces are sufficient to adequately respond to and stop the created crisis situations,” Tasmagambetov said.
He announced that the CSTO will conduct exercises in 2025 in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
