Tasmagambetov: The documents adopted during the CSTO Council meeting are of exceptional importance for ensuring security in the Eurasian region

Geopolitical transformations and changes in the international arena have a significant impact on the situation within the area of CSTO responsibility, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov told reporters.

“The heads of state are interested in discussing issues related to the military-political situation in the CSTO responsibility zone and possible development options,” Tasmagambetov stated.

He noted that the decisions made, and the documents signed during the council meeting “are of exceptional importance for ensuring security in the Eurasian region.”
