Ankara responds to statements from Yerevan and Baku

Ankara expects that the positive progress made in negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will lead to the signing of a peace treaty. This was stated during a meeting of Turkey’s National Security Council.

“Our expectations and desires have been emphasized, hoping that the positive developments in the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will result in the signing of a peace treaty. It has also been stated that lasting peace serves the interests of all parties in our region,” reads the statement.
