Macron calls on all political forces to take responsibility for France’s future

French President Emmanuel Macron has assured people that he will continue to fulfill his duties until the end of his term, despite the resignation of Michel Barnier’s government. Macron stated that a new prime minister will be appointed in the coming days.

“The mandate you have given me is for a term of five years, and I will carry it out to the end—until May 2027,” the French president said.

He expressed gratitude to Michel Barnier for his work.

Macron has identified the approval of the budget through special legislation as a priority for the new prime minister.

“The new government will prepare a new budget proposal at the beginning of next year. We must approve a new budget at the start of the year to ensure necessary investments. Public services in France will continue to operate,” Macron noted.

He stressed the need to establish a clear political line, national unity, and the responsibility of all political forces for the future of France.
