Netanyahu: The Golan Heights will forever be an inseparable part of Israel

Today, everyone understands the great importance of our presence there on the Golan, and not on the foothills of the Golan, The Times of Israel writes, citing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Netanyahu, Israel’s presence there guarantees the country’s security and sovereignty.

He thanked U.S. President-elect Donald Trump for recognizing Israel’s annexation of the Golan in 2019.

“The Golan Heights will forever be an inseparable part of the State of Israel,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu repeated his previous assertion that Assad’s fall was the direct result of the heavy blows Israel landed on Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran.
