Al Mayadeen: Israeli tanks are 21 km away from Damascus

Israeli tanks have advanced from the buffer zone and got positioned near the city of Qatana in southern Syria, which is 21 km from Damascus, Lebanese TV Channel Al Mayadeen writes.

Israeli forces have entered several villages on the outskirts of Damascus.

The Israeli army had previously announced that it had plans to conduct ground operations only within the buffer zone and not outside of it.
