Baerbock and Fidan discuss peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock met in Ankara, Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The meeting covered several issues, including the situation in Syria, the Gaza Strip, and Ukraine. The South Caucasus was also touched upon.

Fidan stated that a historic opportunity has emerged for the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He noted that third parties must provide “fair and impartial” support to this process.
