CIS leders to discuss border stability and security issues
On Dec. 25, an informal pre-New Year meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia’s Foreign Ministry reports.
As noted, the meeting will summarize the results of joint efforts on the margins of the CIS during Russia’s presidency in 2024 and will outline key areas for future cooperation.
The heads of state will exchange views on current international and regional topics, focusing on ensuring stability and security within the CIS territory and along its external borders.
As per tradition, the meeting will be held in a free and cordial discussion format with no fixed agenda.
