US State Department: The US is ready to work with Yerevan and Baku in any format preferred by the parties to reach an agreement

The United States is ready to work with Baku and Yerevan in any format preferred by the parties to reach an agreement. This was stated by the U.S. Department of State in response to an inquiry from Voice of America’s Armenian service.

“The U.S. government supports the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to reach a sustainable and dignified peace agreement, which is crucial for a secure and prosperous South Caucasus. We are ready to work with both sides in any format where the parties can agree and make progress,” the State Department noted.
