CSTO secretary general over upcoming document on Armenia-US strategic cooperation

To assess the nature and prospects of the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States, it is essential to review the relevant documents, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said in an interview with NEWS.ru.

At the same time, Tasmagambetov noted that establishing such a partnership with Washington is Armenia’s sovereign right in terms of bilateral relations.

“However, in this case, it is important for both sides to adhere to the principles of equal and indivisible security, meaning that this partnership should not create security threats to other states and international associations,” the CSTO secretary general noted.
