Kremlin: Pashinyan has provided clarifications on the situation about Armenia’s aspirations for EU membership
In a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed issues related to the further deepening of cooperation between the two countries, primarily in the energy sector, the Kremlin press service says.
“Some urgent issues regarding the further deepening of integration cooperation, especially in the energy sector, were discussed during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, held in December 2024,” the press service states.
The Kremlin also reported that the Armenian prime minister provided clarifications on the situation about Armenia’s aspirations for EU membership.
