We are in contact with our allies and partners to jointly
call for an immediate de-escalation of the situation and to call on Azerbaijan
to engage in direct dialogue with the representatives of the people of
Nagorno-Karabakh. As Voice of America reports, White House National Security
Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson said this.
“The United States is deeply concerned by Azerbaijan’s
military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh. We urge Azerbaijan to immediately stop
these hostilities, which are worsening a dire humanitarian situation,” she
said.
