Al Araby: Syria has banned imports from Russia, Israel, and Iran

Syria has prohibited the import of goods from Russia, Iran, and Israel, as well as the entry of citizens from the latter two countries, according to reports from Syria’s Ministry of Finance, the General Authority for Land and Sea Ports, and airports.

On Friday, the country’s Ministry of Finance announced the ban on imports from Iran, Israel, and Russia. Additionally, border crossings and the airport are authorized to deny entry to Israelis and Iranians.

According to Al Araby, goods from the mentioned countries will be confiscated. As noted, the ban on imports from Israel has been in effect in Syria for many years.
