This new quality of relations opens up new opportunities: Mirzoyan on Armenian-Georgian relations
“In 2024, relations between Armenia and Georgia have made significant, tangible progress. We have signed a document on strategic partnership, and in 2024, we officially became strategic partners. Of course, we must acknowledge that our relations—both between the two countries and between our two peoples—have had a nature of strategic partnership for centuries, but this new document, this new quality of relations, opens up new opportunities for us officially, both in terms of political dialogue and economic cooperation, as well as in other areas such as humanitarian efforts, education, science, and all other fields to strengthen our partnership,” Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.
According to Mirzoyan, the meeting summarized the joint achievements of the two countries, outlined future actions, and noted that there is a real and positive dialogue at a high level between Armenia and Georgia, as well as between the two foreign ministries.
