Mirzoyan: Armenia seeks border delimitation with Georgia as well

During a joint press conference between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Georgia, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed the regional situation, referring to the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative and border delimitation.

“You are aware of Armenia’s initiative, the ‘Crossroads of Peace’, which envisions active economic and transport cooperation. On the margins of this initiative, we have also proposed that Azerbaijan unblock transport infrastructure. We are ready to finalize the process of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan through this program, but also in other directions,” Mirzoyan said.

He noted that Armenia aims to implement border delimitation not only with Azerbaijan but also with Georgia. Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili expressed hope that the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan would include mutually beneficial provisions for both sides.
