EAEU Government Leaders meeting kicks off in Almaty
Today, Almaty will host the meeting of the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries. The event will last for two days, with the participation of the prime ministers of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan expected.
Additionally, the first vice president of Iran, the heads of government of Cuba and Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of government of the invited countries, namely Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, are expected to attend.
The agenda for the meeting, which will be conducted in both narrow and expanded formats, includes a wide range of issues related to trade and economic cooperation.
On Jan. 31, the heads of delegations from EAEU member states, observer countries, and invited countries will participate in the plenary session of the Digital Almaty 2025 forum.
