Trump had a phone conversation with Vladimir Putin: CNN provides details

U.S. President Donald Trump had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday morning, CNN writes.

Trump confirmed reports about the phone conversation. He said the telephone call with the Russian president was “lengthy and highly productive.” They discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy issues and a number of other topics.

Trump announced that he and Putin agreed on the need to end the conflict in Ukraine.
