US state secretary visits Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Sunday, Feb. 16, the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem reports.

“On the morning of Feb. 16, 2025, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio made his first official visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Present for the reception ceremony were His Eminence Archbishop Aghan Gogchyan, Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and  Rev. Father Samuel Aghoyan, former Superior of the Holy Sepulcher,” the Patriarchate said in a Facebook post.
