Peskov: Moscow will no longer fall into the trap of the West’s false promises

The West’s approach to the Minsk agreements has served as a lesson for Russia, enabling it to better protect its interests in the future, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

According to Peskov, past experiences have taught Russia to avoid falling into the trap of the West’s false promises. His remarks came in response to a question about what guarantees exist that the West will not deceive Russia again, as happened in the case of the Minsk agreements ten years ago.
