Explosion happens at Russian Consulate building in Marseille: What is known?

An explosion has occurred at the premises of the Russian Consulate in Marseille, BFM TV writes, citing emergency services.

Stanislav Oransky, Russian Consul in Marseille, confirmed that the explosion took place inside the consulate and that firefighters have arrived at the scene.

According to media reports, no one incurred injuries. Unidentified individuals possibly threw two containers filled with a flammable mixture onto the consulate grounds. A stolen vehicle was found near the site of the accident. Preliminary reports indicate that the damages are purely material.

To remind, earlier, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service announced that Kyiv might organize a series of terror attacks against Russian diplomatic missions in Europe with the aim of disrupting negotiations.
